Industrial oil filtration equipment is mainly used to remove pollutants from various industrial lubricants, hydraulic oils, gear oils, cutting fluids and other oils to restore their performance, extend service life and reduce equipment wear. Its core functions and technical features are as follows:

1. Physical filtration

- Removal of solid particles

- Step-by-step filtration through metal filter screens, filter paper, or polymer filter elements (accuracy 1~50μm) to remove metal debris, dust, sludge, etc., so that the particle contamination reaches ISO 4406 15/13/10 or higher standards.

- Typical applications: hydraulic system (to prevent servo valve jamming), bearing lubrication (to reduce friction pair wear).


2. Dehydration treatment

- Demulsification and dehydration: break the oil-water emulsification state and separate free water (water content after treatment ≤100ppm).

- Vacuum dehydration: evaporate dissolved water under -0.095MPa vacuum (applicable to turbine oil and transformer oil).

- Coalescence separation: use lipophilic/hydrophilic materials to drain water in layers (such as aviation hydraulic oil treatment).


3. Degassing and defoaming

- Vacuum degassing: eliminate dissolved air in the oil (gas content from 5% to less than 0.1%) to prevent cavitation in the hydraulic system.

- Ultrasonic defoaming: for the foaming problem of high viscosity oil (such as gear oil).


4. Chemical purification

- Adsorption purification: activated white clay or diatomaceous earth to remove colloids and oxides (reduce the acid value to ≤0.05mgKOH/g).

- Acid neutralization: add alkaline additives to neutralize acidic substances (suitable for severely aged circulating oil).


5. Regeneration and restoration

- Decolorization and deodorization: activated carbon adsorption restores the color of the oil (such as from dark brown to light yellow).

- Additive supplementation: online supplementation of antioxidants and anti-wear agents (such as ZDDP) to restore oil performance.


2. Intelligent control

- Online monitoring: Real-time display of particle count (PPM), moisture content, viscosity changes, and linkage adjustment of filtration parameters.

- Self-cleaning system: backwash or ultrasonic cleaning of filter element to extend service life.

1. Manufacturing industry

- Purification of machine tool cutting fluid (extend replacement cycle by more than 3 times).

- Maintenance of hydraulic oil of the die-casting machine (prevent proportional valve blockage).


2. Energy industry

- Purification of steam turbine oil in a power plant (control moisture ≤100ppm).

- Oil filtration of wind power gearbox (reduce bearing pitting).


3. Transportation

- Circulation treatment of lubricating oil of the ship engine (reduce sulfide corrosion).

- Online purification of hydraulic oil of a railway locomotive.


4. Waste oil regeneration

- Regenerate waste oil with acid value > 0.5mgKOH/g into usable oil (saving 40~60% of cost).

1. Oil type: High-viscosity oil (such as gear oil) needs to be heated to reduce viscosity before filtering.

2. Pollution degree: A pre-magnetic filter is required for oil containing a large amount of metal chips, and a centrifuge is preferred for emulsified oil.

3. Automation requirements: An Online filtration system is recommended for continuous production lines, and mobile equipment can be selected for intermittent operations.
