Oil Purifier Installation Location Selection Specifications

Time:2025-02-14 15:13:54  Reading volume:

The selection of the site for installing the oil purifier is crucial to the normal operation, maintenance and safety of the equipment. The following are the main specifications and precautions for selecting the site for installing the oil purifier:

I. Environmental requirements

1. Good ventilation

- The oil purifier may generate heat and a small amount of oil gas during operation, so the installation site should have good ventilation conditions to avoid oil gas accumulation.

- If ventilation is insufficient, it is recommended to install an exhaust fan or ventilation equipment.

2. Suitable temperature

- The ambient temperature of the installation site should be within the range allowed by the equipment (usually 5-40℃).

- Avoid high-temperature environments to avoid affecting the heat dissipation and oil performance of the equipment.

3. Humidity control

- The ambient humidity should be as low as possible to avoid high humidity environment causing moisture to the electrical components of the equipment or moisture absorption of the oil.

- If the humidity is high, it is recommended to install a dehumidifier.

4. Dust-free environment

- The installation site should be as clean as possible to prevent dust and impurities from entering the equipment and affecting the filtering effect.

- If the environment is dusty, it is recommended to install dust-proof facilities or clean the equipment regularly.

II. Space requirements

1. Equipment layout

- Ensure that there is enough space around the equipment for operation, maintenance and overhaul.

- It is usually recommended to reserve at least 0.5-1 meter of passages in front, behind, left and right of the equipment.

2. Height requirements

- The height of the installation site should meet the requirements of the equipment, especially for systems with high-level oil tanks or pipelines.

- Ensure that there is enough space on the top of the equipment for maintenance and replacement of parts.

3. Flat ground

- The installation ground should be flat and solid, able to withstand the weight of the equipment and vibration during operation.

- If the ground is uneven, leveling is required.

III. Safety requirements

1. Fire and explosion prevention

- The oil treated by the oil purifier may be flammable, so the installation site should be away from fire sources, high-temperature equipment and flammable items.

- If there are other equipment in the site, a safe distance must be ensured.

2. Electrical safety

- The electrical facilities at the installation site should comply with national standards, ensure good grounding, and avoid leakage or short circuit.

- If the environment is humid, moisture-proof measures should be taken.

3. Emergency passages

- Emergency passages should be set up at the installation site to ensure rapid evacuation in an emergency.

- The passages should be kept unobstructed and no debris should be piled up.

IV. Supporting facilities

1. Power supply

- Ensure that the power supply voltage and frequency meet the equipment requirements, and be equipped with independent power switches and leakage protection devices.

- If the equipment has a large power, it needs to be wired separately to avoid sharing the line with other equipment.

2. Drainage facilities

- If the oil purifier needs to be drained (such as condensed water from a vacuum oil purifier), the installation site should be equipped with a drain or drainage pipe.

- The drainage facilities should be unobstructed to avoid water accumulation.

3. Oil Storage

- An oil storage area should be set up near the installation site to facilitate the storage of oil to be treated and filtered oil.

- The storage area should be away from fire sources and equipped with fire prevention facilities.

V. Other precautions

1. Away from vibration sources

- The installation site should be away from large vibration equipment (such as air compressors, punching machines, etc.) to avoid affecting the normal operation of the oil purifier.

2. Convenient for transportation

- The installation site should be convenient for the transportation and installation of the equipment, especially for large oil purifiers, the convenience of lifting and handling should be considered.

3. Noise control

- The oil purifier may generate noise during operation, and the installation site should be as far away from office areas or crowded areas as possible.

- If the noise is large, sound insulation measures can be taken.

Sixth, summary

When choosing the installation site for the oil purifier, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as environment, space, safety and supporting facilities to ensure that the equipment can operate safely, stably and efficiently. If conditions permit, it is recommended to consult the equipment manufacturer or professionals before installation to conduct on-site inspection and evaluation.
