Vacuum oil purifier is a kind of equipment used to remove moisture, gas and impurities from oil. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, machinery and other industries. The following is the relevant knowledge about vacuum oil purifiers to treat moisture in oil:

1. Working principle

The vacuum oil purifier removes moisture from oil through the following steps:

1. Heating: The oil is heated to a certain temperature (usually 40-60℃) to reduce the viscosity of the oil and facilitate the evaporation of moisture.

2. Vacuum separation: The oil enters the vacuum separation chamber. Under negative pressure, the boiling point of moisture and gas is reduced and evaporates rapidly.

3. Condensation: The evaporated moisture and gas are cooled by the condenser and condensed into liquid water for discharge.

4. Filtration: The oil passes through a precision filter to remove residual solid impurities.

2. Steps to treat moisture in oil

1. Preparation

- Check whether all parts of the equipment are normal, including the vacuum pump, heater, condenser and filter.

- Make sure the oil temperature is within the allowable range of the equipment (usually 40-60℃).

2. Heating the oil

- Start the heater and heat the oil to the set temperature.

- Pay attention to controlling the heating temperature to avoid overheating of the oil and causing oxidation.

3. Vacuum separation

- Start the vacuum pump to form a negative pressure in the separation chamber.

- In the negative pressure environment, the water and gas evaporate rapidly.

4. Condensation drainage

- The evaporated water and gas are cooled by the condenser and condensed into liquid water.

- Check the drain valve of the condenser regularly to ensure that the water is discharged in time.

5. Filtering the oil

- The oil passes through a precision filter to remove residual solid impurities.

- Check whether the filter is blocked and replace the filter element if necessary.

6. Testing the oil quality

- After the treatment is completed, test the water content and cleanliness of the oil to ensure that it meets the requirements.

III. Key parameters

1. Vacuum degree

- The higher the vacuum degree, the faster the water evaporates. The vacuum degree is usually -0.08 to -0.095MPa.

- Check the vacuum pump and seals regularly to ensure the vacuum degree is stable.

2. Heating temperature

- Too high a heating temperature will cause oil oxidation, while too low a heating temperature will affect the water evaporation efficiency.

- The heating temperature is usually 40-60℃, which is adjusted according to the type of oil.

3. Processing time

- The processing time depends on the water content of the oil and the processing capacity of the equipment.

- The higher the water content, the longer the processing time.

IV. Precautions

1. Safe operation

- Wear protective equipment during operation to avoid burns from high-temperature oil.

- Check electrical equipment regularly to prevent leakage or short circuit.

2. Equipment maintenance

- Clean the condenser and filter regularly to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

- Check the vacuum pump oil level and replace the vacuum pump oil if necessary.

3. Oil selection

- Ensure that the treated oil is compatible with the equipment to avoid corrosion or damage to the equipment.

- For special oils (such as synthetic oil), the equipment parameters need to be adjusted.

4. Environmental requirements

- The equipment should be placed in a well-ventilated place to avoid high temperature and high humidity environment.

- Regularly clean up the debris around the equipment to ensure good heat dissipation.

5. Common problems and solutions

1. Incomplete moisture removal

- Cause: Insufficient vacuum, too low heating temperature or insufficient processing time.

- Solution: Increase vacuum, adjust heating temperature or extend processing time.

2. Oil oxidation

- Cause: Heating temperature is too high or processing time is too long.

- Solution: Reduce heating temperature or shorten processing time.

3. High noise from equipment

- Cause: Failure of a vacuum pump or air leakage in the pipeline.

- Solution: Check the vacuum pump and pipeline, and repair or replace if necessary.

4. Excessive oil foaming

- Cause: Too high gas content in the oil or too high vacuum.

- Solution: Adjust the vacuum degree or extend the degassing time.

VI. Application fields

1. Power industry: Process transformer oil, turbine oil, etc. to improve insulation performance.

2. Petrochemical industry: Process lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, etc. to extend equipment life.

3. Machinery industry: Process cutting oil, quenching oil, etc. to improve processing quality.

- Through the above measures, the vacuum oil purifier can be effectively used to remove moisture from the oil, ensure the oil quality, and extend the service life of the equipment.
