The operation mode of the oil purifier varies according to its type and working principle. The following are the operation modes and characteristics of several common oil purifiers:

I. Plate and frame oil purifier

Operation mode

1. Preparation

- Check whether the filter cloth, filter plate and seal are intact and ensure correct installation.

- Pour the oil to be treated into the oil tank.

2. Start the oil pump

- Start the oil pump and the oil is pumped into the oil purifier.

- The oil passes through the filter cloth and filter plate, solid impurities are trapped, and clean oil flows out.

3. Filtration process

- The oil passes through the filter cloth under pressure, and impurities gradually accumulate on the surface of the filter cloth.

- As the filtration proceeds, the pressure gradually increases, and the pressure gauge needs to be monitored to avoid overpressure.

4. Stop and clean

- When the pressure reaches the set upper limit or the filtration efficiency decreases, stop and clean or replace the filter cloth.

- Clean the filter plate and filter frame to prepare for the next filtration.

Features

- Suitable for high-viscosity oil and oil with more impurities.

- High filtration accuracy, but manual cleaning of filter cloth is required.

II. Vacuum oil purifier

Operation mode

1. Preparation

- Check whether the vacuum pump, heater and condenser are normal.

- Pour the oil to be treated into the oil tank.

2. Heating the oil

- Start the heater and heat the oil to the set temperature (usually 40-60℃).

3. Vacuum separation

- Start the vacuum pump to form a negative pressure in the separation chamber.

- In the negative pressure environment, the water and gas evaporate rapidly.

4. Condensation drainage

- The evaporated water and gas are cooled by the condenser and condensed into liquid water for discharge.

5. Filtering the oil

- The oil passes through a precision filter to remove residual solid impurities.

6. Detect oil quality

- After the treatment is completed, detect the moisture content and cleanliness of the oil.

Features

- Suitable for removing moisture, gas and tiny impurities in the oil.

- High degree of automation and high processing efficiency.

III. Centrifugal oil purifier

Operation method

1. Preparation work

- Check whether the centrifuge and oil system are normal.

- Pour the oil to be treated into the oil tank.

2. Start the centrifuge

- Start the centrifuge and the oil enters the high-speed rotating drum.

- Under the action of centrifugal force, impurities and water are separated and deposited on the inner wall of the drum.

3. Separation process

- Clean oil flows out from the center of the drum, and impurities and water are separated.

4. Shutdown cleaning

- Clean the impurities and water in the drum after shutdown.

Features

- Suitable for removing water and larger particles of impurities in the oil. - The processing speed is fast, but the filtering accuracy is relatively low.

IV. Pressure oil purifier

Operation method

1. Preparation

- Check whether the filter element and oil system are normal.

- Inject the oil to be treated into the oil tank.

2. Start the oil pump

- Start the oil pump, and the oil passes through the filter element under pressure.

- Solid impurities are trapped by the filter element, and clean oil flows out.

3. Filtration process

- As the filtration proceeds, the filter element gradually becomes blocked and the pressure increases.

- When the pressure reaches the set upper limit, the filter element needs to be replaced.

4. Stop and replace the filter element

- replace the filter element after stopping, and clean the oil tank and oil circuit.

Features

- Suitable for high-precision filtration and removal of tiny particle impurities.

- The filter element needs to be replaced frequently, and the operating cost is high.

Electrostatic oil purifier

Operation mode

1. Preparation

- Check whether the electric field and oil system are normal.

- Inject the oil to be treated into the oil tank.

2. Start the electric field

- Start the high-voltage electric field, and the charged particles in the oil are adsorbed under the action of the electric field.

3. Filtration process

- Clean oil flows out, and charged particles are trapped in the electric field.

4. Shutdown cleaning

- Clean impurities in the electric field after shutdown.

Features

- Suitable for removing tiny charged particles in oil.

- High filtration accuracy, but complex equipment and high maintenance cost.

Different types of oil purifiers have different operation modes and are suitable for different oil treatment needs. Selecting a suitable oil purifier and operating it correctly can effectively improve the oil quality and extend the service life of the equipment. In actual use, it is necessary to select a suitable oil purifier according to the oil type and treatment requirements and operate and maintain it strictly by the operating procedures.
