Industrial Oil Filtration Product Category Introduction

There are many types of industrial oil filtration products. According to different oil products, pollution types and working conditions, they can be divided into the following categories and typical applications:

Classification by filtration technology

1. Mechanical oil filter

- Principle: physical interception (filter element/filter screen)

- Subdivision type:

- Plate and frame oil filter: suitable for coarse filtration of high-viscosity lubricating oil (100-200μm)

- Bag filter: handle large flow hydraulic oil (precision 10-50μm)

- Filter element filter: precision filtration (1-10μm, β value ≥200)

2. Vacuum oil filter

- Core functions: dehydration (≤10ppm), degassing (≤0.1%)

- Typical models:

- Two-stage vacuum type: deep purification of transformer oil (vacuum degree -0.099MPa)

- Online circulation type: continuous treatment of turbine oil

3. Centrifugal oil filter

- Advantages: no consumables, can handle highly polluted oil

- Application:

- Rolling mill lubricating oil (removing metal chips)

- Marine diesel engine oil (separating water and particles)

4. Coalescing separation oil filter

- Features: Specially filter emulsified oil (water → 50ppm)

- Structure: Coalescing filter element + hydrophobic separator

5. Electrostatic adsorption oil filter

- Function: Remove colloids/oxides (improve dielectric loss tangent)

- Scope of application: Regeneration of aged gear oil

- Vacuum + molecular sieve composite dehydration

- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel material

Oil filter selection tips

1. Look at the type of pollution:

- Mainly particles → mechanical filtration

- Mainly water → vacuum/condensation

2. Look at the oil viscosity:

- High viscosity (＞460cSt) requires heating + high flow pump

3. Check industry standards:

- Power industry: DL/T 521 standard

- Aviation hydraulics: AS4059F grade
