The difference between a vacuum oil filter and an ordinary oil filter

The vacuum oil filter is a product that performs on-site oil filtering and oil replenishment for various oil-immersed transformers, oil-immersed current and voltage transformers, and high-voltage oil-less circuit breakers. Next, let's talk about the difference between the vacuum oil filter and the ordinary oil filter.

Ordinary oil filter:

Ordinary oil filter is a movable device composed of a filter bed, an oil pump, and a coarse filter.

The filter bed can be operated continuously, and dirty oil is pressed into the filter for side filtering under pressure. The filter is composed of a set of alternating filter plates and filter frames, as well as a mechanism including a manual spiral clamping device and a clamping plate. The filter plate and the filter frame (small ring) are padded with filter paper (or filter cloth) as the filter medium.

By the pressure of the clamping device, the filter plate and the filter frame are pressed on the fixed central tube and between the movable clamping plate, thereby forming a separate filter chamber. The filter paper (or filter cloth) pressed between the filter plate and the filter frame plays a filtering role. The dirty oil is introduced from the center, filtered in the filter chamber, and the clean oil is drawn out from the other corresponding channel of the filter plate.

Vacuum oil filter:

The vacuum oil filter can efficiently remove free water and solid pollutants from petroleum-based oils such as hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, and turbine oil. It can also bypass or purify the oil separately as needed.

The oil filter can remove free water from the medium through demulsification, coalescence, and separation processes. The free water content of the treated medium is less than 200PPM, and the extreme can be less than 100PPM. It can also filter out solid particles in the medium. Controlling the cleanliness of the oil can achieve the removal of solid particles in the medium.

Controlling the cleanliness of the oil can reach NAS4 or higher. (Note: The equipment is not suitable for occasions with very low water content requirements, such as requiring the removal of dissolved water. At this time, a solution is to use the coalescence negative pressure oil filter series produced by our company, which can quickly remove a large amount of water from the oil and eventually reduce the water content to 100PPM, and the extreme can be less than 5PPM.)
