The nominal filtration accuracy, not the filtration accuracy, is marked on the product samples or nameplates of the hydraulic oil purifier manufacturers. Only the β value measured by the test can indicate the filtration capacity of the filter element. The hydraulic oil filter element should also meet the pressure loss requirements to ensure the optimization of the flow rate and filter element life.
Determine the cleanliness level according to the needs of the hydraulic system, and then select the filtration accuracy of the oil purifier according to this cleanliness level. Since the nominal filtration accuracy cannot truly reflect the filtration capacity of the filter element, the diameter of the larger hard spherical particles that can pass through the filter element under the specified test conditions is often used as its filtration accuracy to directly reflect the initial filtration capacity of the newly installed filter element.
The flow rate and pressure drop of the filter element through the oil are important parameters of the flow characteristics. The flow characteristic test should be carried out according to international standards, and the flow-pressure drop characteristic curve should be drawn.
Perform a rupture impact test according to international standards. The pressure difference that drops sharply when the filter element is damaged should be greater than the specified value.
Fatigue test is carried out according to international standards, and the filter element must undergo 100,000 cycles of fatigue test.
Pressure flow bearing capacity test is carried out according to international standards to verify the compatibility of filter material and hydraulic oil.
