High viscosity oil purifier is specially designed for processing high viscosity oil (such as gear oil, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, transformer oil, turbine oil, etc.). Its core purpose is efficient purification, dehydration, degassing and regeneration to ensure that the oil performance meets the requirements of industrial equipment. The following are specific application scenarios and functions:
- Gearbox and reducer:
Remove metal particles (filtration accuracy can reach 5μm), moisture and oxidation products generated by gear wear to prevent gear pitting and bonding failure.
Typical viscosity range: ISO VG 220~680 (at 40℃).
- Hydraulic system:
Process high viscosity anti-wear hydraulic oil (such as HM/HV series), remove sludge and tiny particles, and prevent servo valve jamming.
- Large bearing lubrication system:
Filter thickened lubricating oil (such as NLGI 2~3 grade grease base oil) to reduce bearing wear.
- High viscosity transformer oil (such as silicone oil, synthetic ester):
Silicone-based insulating oil (viscosity ≥ 50cSt) requires special heating + high vacuum dehydration (water ≤ 10ppm) to restore dielectric strength.
- Steam turbine generator set:
Treat high viscosity turbine oil (such as ISO VG 460), remove emulsified water and acidic substances, and extend the oil change cycle.
- Aged oil regeneration:
Through heating, vacuum distillation and adsorption (such as activated clay), the colloid and asphaltene in high viscosity oil are removed, and the acid value can be reduced from 2.0mg KOH/g to below 0.5.
- Waste oil recovery:
Recycle waste high viscosity oil from metallurgy, shipbuilding and other industries, and meet the reuse standards after multi-stage filtration.
- Low temperature environment:
Equipped with a preheating system (heated to 60-80°C) to reduce viscosity and ensure fluidity (such as oil used in equipment in the Arctic region).
- High temperature and high pollution scenarios:
Lubricating oil for steel mill rolling mills needs to be resistant to high temperature filtration (oil temperature ≥ 80°C) and filter high temperature resistant synthetic oil (such as PAO).
1. Viscosity adaptation: Confirm the kinematic viscosity (cSt) of the oil at 40℃ and select equipment with a pumping pressure ≥0.6MPa.
2. Pollution type:
- Particles are the main → select centrifugal + magnetic filter;
- Water is the main → select vacuum + coalescence separation.
3. Flow demand: heavy equipment recommended processing volume ≥ 2000L/h (such as the ship main reducer oil system).
- ISO 4406: Hydraulic oil particle contamination level
- ASTM D445: Viscosity test method
- GB/T 7600: Operating transformer oil moisture content standard
The high viscosity oil purifier solves the problems of low filtration efficiency and dehydration difficulties caused by oil viscosity in traditional oil purifiers through targeted design. It is a key maintenance equipment in heavy industry, energy, shipbuilding and other fields.
