Although transformer waste oil cannot be used in transformers, it still has many uses after proper treatment, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Recycling

- Use: Through regeneration treatment, impurities, moisture and acidic substances in waste oil are removed, its performance is restored, and it can be reused in transformers or other equipment.

- Treatment methods: filtration, degassing, adsorption, chemical treatment, etc.

2. As fuel

- Use: Waste oil can be used as industrial fuel for combustion of boilers, heating furnaces and other equipment.

- Advantages: high calorific value, can replace some fossil fuels.

- Precautions: Emissions need to be controlled during combustion to avoid environmental pollution.

3. Lubricant

- Use: Treated waste oil can be used as a lubricant for general mechanical equipment, suitable for occasions with low requirements for oil products.

- Application scenarios: ordinary machinery, chains, gears, etc.

4. Asphalt modification

- Use: Waste oil can be used to modify asphalt, improve its performance, and be used for road paving.

- Advantages: Improve the flexibility and durability of asphalt.

5. Rust inhibitor

- Use: Waste oil can be used for rust prevention of metal surfaces to form a protective film to prevent oxidation.

- Application scenarios: metal products, mechanical equipment, etc.

6. Building materials

- Use: Waste oil can be used to produce certain building materials, such as linoleum, waterproof materials, etc.

- Advantages: low cost and certain waterproof properties.

7. Chemical raw materials

- Use: Waste oil can be used as a chemical raw material to produce certain chemicals or as a solvent.

- Application scenarios: paint, coating, rubber and other industries.

8. Biodiesel raw materials

- Use: Treated waste oil can be used to produce biodiesel.

- Advantages: renewable, environmentally friendly, and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

9. Soil improvement

- Use: In some cases, waste oil can be used for soil improvement to improve soil water retention and fertility.

- Note: Make sure that the waste oil does not contain harmful substances to avoid soil contamination.

10. Energy recovery

- Use: Waste oil can be used to recover energy through pyrolysis or gasification technology for power generation or heating.

- Advantages: Efficient use of resources and reduction of waste.

11. Research use

- Use: Waste oil can be used for scientific research, such as oil aging research, pollutant analysis, etc.

- Application scenarios: laboratories, scientific research institutions.

12. Other industrial uses

- Use: Waste oil can be used in certain specific industrial processes, such as metal processing, heat treatment, etc.

- Application scenarios: Machinery manufacturing, metallurgy and other industries.

Notes:

- Environmental protection requirements: When handling and using waste oil, relevant environmental protection laws and regulations must be observed to avoid pollution to the environment.

- Safety measures: Waste oil may contain harmful substances, and necessary safety measures must be taken during handling to prevent harm to human health.

Through reasonable treatment and utilization, transformer waste oil can play its residual value in many fields while reducing negative impacts on the environment.
