Transformer oil filtration vacuum equipment is a core equipment specially used to remove moisture, gas and solid impurities in oil, mainly including the following categories:

Ordinary vacuum oil purifier

Applicable scenarios: maintenance of small and medium-sized transformers, treatment of slightly damp oil

Functional features:

- Vacuum dehydration: vacuum degree 0.5~1kPa, moisture can be reduced to ≤10ppm

- Basic filtration: equipped with a 5~10μm filter element to remove particulate matter

- Heating and temperature control: oil temperature 50~65℃ (anti-oxidation)

Two-stage vacuum oil purifier

Applicable scenarios: ultra-high voltage transformers, severely damp oil, or high gas oil

Functional features:

- Two-stage vacuum:

- First-stage vacuum pre-degassing (10~50kPa)

- Second-stage high vacuum deep dehydration (<0.5kPa)

- High-efficiency degassing: gas content can be ≤0.05%

- Precision filtration: 1~3μm filter element (NAS 1638 level 5)

Typical models:

- GZJ series (domestic two-stage)

- DTL series (German technology)

Thin film evaporation vacuum oil purifier

Applicable scenarios: UHV transformers, occasions with extremely strict requirements on oil quality

Core technology:

- Thin film degassing: The oil forms a 0.1~0.5mm thin film in the vacuum tank, and the degassing efficiency is 30% higher than that of the spray type

- Low temperature treatment: It can operate at 45℃ (reducing the risk of thermal aging)

- VFD series (imported from Switzerland)

- MBV series (Japanese technology)

Online vacuum oil filter device

Applicable scenarios: non-stop maintenance of transformers

Working mode:

- Parallel in the transformer oil circuit, 24-hour circulation purification

Operation precautions

1. Vacuum maintenance:

- Check the vacuum pump oil regularly (replace immediately after emulsification)

- Aging of flange seals will cause leakage

2. Temperature control:

- Exceeding 70℃ will accelerate oil oxidation

3. Filter element management:

- Must be replaced when the pressure difference is ≥0.3MPa


The selection of transformer oil vacuum oil filtration equipment should be based on the voltage level, pollution degree and budget:

- 110kV and below: ordinary vacuum oil purifier (ZYD series)

- 220~500kV: two-stage vacuum model (GZJ series)

- UHV/nuclear power: thin film evaporation equipment (VFD series)

- Unmanned station: Online oil filter (with IoT monitoring)


Regular oil filtering can extend the life of the transformer by 3 to 5 years. It is recommended to process it every 2 years or when the oil quality exceeds the standard!
