Reasons for heating of vacuum oil filter

More and more industrial oil companies will choose vacuum oil filters to assist the oil environment. First, it improves the lubrication performance and quality of oil products and prolongs the effectiveness of oil use. Second, it ensures the safe operation of oil-using equipment and improves the working efficiency of equipment. 


Vacuum oil filters are usually used in the power generation industry and electrical manufacturing plants, paper mills, electrification plants, industrial and mining enterprises, railway transportation, and substation engineering fields for the removal of impurities, filtration, degassing, purification and waste oil recycling of insulating transformer oil, turbine oil (turbine oil), lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and other industrial oils. It is an ideal equipment for running oil purification.


The working principle of the vacuum oil filter is to physically heat the atomized oil to dehydrate and degas in a vacuum state. The three sets of filters can quickly absorb and filter out various fine solid impurities and restore the performance of the oil. 


Reasons for the heating of the vacuum oil filter: There are many reasons for the heating of the vacuum oil filter. It is normal for mechanical equipment to have some heating during use, but the temperature is too high, such as exceeding 90°C, and there are problems with the oil filter outlet. Possible reasons


1. Mismatched system design, a small horse pulling a big cart, unreasonable heat dissipation design parameters, etc.


2. Long-term overflow of the pump head overflow valve


3. Abnormal operation of the heater and radiator, overheating of the oil, causing the pump to heat up


4. Unreasonable oil volume, too little, resulting in insufficient heat dissipation of the oil tank, overheating of the oil, causing the pump to heat up


5. The system is overloaded for a long time


6. Poor lubrication inside the vacuum pump causes a temperature rise


7. When multiple groups of pumps work at the same time, the parameters are not set properly, resulting in uneven load distribution and overheating of individual pumps


8. The oil is too dirty, and the hydraulic pump increases its wear and tear and causes overheating


The oil filter can be used for many years under normal use. If there is a heating problem, first check whether there is any irregular operation method, and then contact the supplier or manufacturer for processing.
