5 Tips for Using a Vacuum Oil Filter

The vacuum oil filter is widely favored by people due to its small size, stable performance, safety and reliability. It not only replenishes and filters oil on-site for various oil-immersed transformers, but also is an indispensable good helper for power plants, petrochemical and other industries. Below, the editor will share the five major uses of the vacuum oil filter:

1. The vacuum oil filter should be as close to the transformer or oil tank as possible, and the oil suction pipeline should not be too long, and the pipeline resistance should be reduced as much as possible. Otherwise, the oil suction pipeline is too long and the oil suction pipeline resistance is too large, which affects the oil filtration quality.

2. During use, users should frequently check whether the vacuum oil filter oil pipe joints and valves are blocked, check for oil leakage, etc., whether the oil pipe is installed correctly, and check whether all rotating parts are blocked. If any problems are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and treatment.

In addition, anti-static grounding measures should be taken for the metal pipes of the oil filter and the oil system. If possible, users should conduct a trial run to check whether the steering of the motors, such as the oil pump and vacuum pump, meets the requirements.

3. The user should start the cooling pump first, check whether the water circulation is normal, and then click the vacuum pump to enable the edible oil and other oils in the vacuum pump to operate normally, and then make the vacuum pump run continuously. Then start the oil drain pump switch, start draining oil to filter impurities, the oil circuit circulates normally, turn on the heater switch, and volatilize the water in the edible oil and other oils.

If there is too much water, open the exhaust control to adapt to the vacuum degree, and close the exhaust valve when there is less water.

4. When the oil circulation is normal, press the electric heating start button to heat the oil, and the temperature controller is generally set to 40℃-80℃. When the oil temperature rises to the set temperature, the vacuum oil filter will automatically turn off the heater. When the oil temperature is lower than the set temperature, the heater will automatically start to keep the heating uniform and constant temperature, reduce the impact of temperature on the quality of edible oil and other oils, and improve the quality of filtered oil.

5. When the vacuum pump is working, the user should pay attention to the oil condition displayed by the oil mark, and the oil should be on the oil mark line. If there is more water in the vacuum pump oil, it should be replaced in time. In addition, during operation, when the water reservoir is full of water, the drain valve can be manually operated to drain water.

At the same time, users should always pay attention to whether the vacuum pump and the corresponding operating noise are normal. If there is any abnormality, it should be eliminated immediately, otherwise it will directly affect the normal operation of the equipment.
